For a budget hotel this place was amazing! All the staff was friendly and nice but not overwhelmingly so. The hot continental breakfast was worth the extra price compared to other budget hotels. Everyday there's was eggs bacon and sausage. On the weekend they added biscuits and gravy! The breakfast room's host was a sweet older lady who was so kind to everyone. She helped us make waffles and kept all the hot food well stocked. We had a single queen room and while it was small it was very clean . The whole hotel was clean and well taken care of. This hotel seems to be popular with work crews from out of town. Probably because of the great breakfast. There were a few groups of men hanging around outside by their work trucks but they were never an issue. The hotel was very quiet at night. Overall this is a great place to stay when on a budget.

It was a nice clean place and had a sizable breakfast included in the overnight rate. My only complaint was the water faucet in the bathtub didn't work at all. So no bath or shower for me. The desk clerk thot I didn't pull hard enough. I tried multiple times. Didn't have time in the a.m. to wait for a service tech.

Very nice hotel. Decently clean. Pool was open and operating and clean. Gym was a decent size and all machines worked. Breakfast had a varied number of items to eat. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

My family stayed here due to its location to other places we wanted to visit. The hotel shows it's age the in room refrigerator was super loud the room had a funky smell. It's saving grace was that it appeared clean. We had breakfast at their hospitality facility and it was surprisingly good. The hospitality staff was on point, the ladies keeping the food stocked and the area clean they were amazing. Great job they made it a very pleasant experience.

We accidentally booked this hotel in Lompoc but glad to see the city and beach. Happy to know about history of the indigenous people, the wrecked ship and the largest mineral manufacturing plant. Also drove around the agricultural field.this is an old hotel and happy with their free breakfast and swimming pool.and yes I can see sky diving planes, better for sky diving.

Pros: Personally my family and I had a great stay here! Front desk staff was curious and informative, beds were comfortable le and very clean and they were able to accommodate early check in for us, for free! Unlike most places checkout is 12 noon (compared to the standard 11am)!!! Free breakfast was pletiful and had a great variety of food, coffee choices, and juice choices. While we didn't visit the hot tub or pool, they looked nice with decent seating and lounging around it. Good parking but entrances into the place aside from the front desk were a little confusing. Also breakfast area (hospitality room) was a bit difficult to find (go to the pool. On the outside across from the spa, is the hospitality room. There is a sign). Cons: (mostly cosmetic. I can see bad reviews being picky or for spoiled "resort dwellers" lol) - Air conditioner stinks at higher temperatures and start up. Once it gets goin its good. - top cover of the bed is itchy....but not really needed? Just make sure it's on top of the sheet if you use it. - could use more in room lighting. - wiring and lighting could be updated...little on the older side. 100% functional though without issue - some small paint or glue touch ups could be done... cheap and easy to do to be honest and can go a long way - biggest issue was bathroom. It was clean enough with clean towels but wall paper could be glued down where loose or replaced, door hinges were super rusty and ugly (just cosmetic. Don't think I'd go out of my way licking them or rubbing my face on them anytime soon). Under the door had water damage...not really the hotels fault in my opinion. Maybe add a weather plate to protect it or at least cover it up. - shower knob.Requires a little know how and muscle. Had to call for instructions. To turn the water on pulls the center temperature knob outward (toward you). Muscle is required and it feels like it'll break but it won't. Turning it off is the same way, just push in hard.

We stayed here 7/26/24 on the 4th floor for two nights. The 4-story hotel was quiet and clean. Continental breakfast was simple and filling... Make your own Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage on alternate days, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juice, milk, tea, dry cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, locally sourced bagels and muffins. Free WiFi and free HBO. It was safe. It was quite a bargain and I would definitely stay again. Keep in mind that the town rolls-up the sidewalks at 8:00pm. So get plans for dinner early. Also, just expect a wait to get checked into the hotel. I didn't mind as I was on vacation. Some of the people waiting in line were just plain unpleasant. The woman who checked us in was delightful and personable.
